The condo units surrounding Miner’s Candle 2 are rented at least part-time. To date there has not been a need for a noise policy. We will contact owners, property management, etc. if we become aware of any noise issues.
The “Columbine” Pool & Hot Tub facility is a short walk. Go around the South end of the building and walk West for approximately one half of a block. The Columbine pool and hot tubs are on the left. Sign in as guests staying at Miner’s Candle. Please review the Pool and Hot Tub Rules on this Web Site.
The “Columbine” Pool & Hot Tub facility has a locked gate. We will provide Guests with an access code.
Upon arrival at Denver International Airport check road conditions (I-70 Westbound) – From a cell phone within Colorado dial 511 or check cotrip.org, cotrip.com, or GOI70.com. You may want to look at these prior to your arrival in Colorado to be familiar with the format and content. Leave Denver International Airport via Pena Blvd – Pena Blvd joins I-70 Westbound. Stay on I-70 for a little over 1 hour (time varies depending upon weather and traffic conditions) – Exit at Frisco, Colorado on Highway 9, Exit 203. Stay on Highway 9 for about 9 miles to Breckenridge.
The nearest Breckenridge ski lift (Quicksilver) is a 5 or 6 minute walk down the walkway to the pool then take a right turn and after a short distance turn left onto a path between two condo buildings. There is a small sign indicating that the path leads to the ski area. Continue walking West/Northwest and cross the street. Continue on the path down a small hill, cross the bridge over the Blue River and you will be at the Quicksilver lift which serves Peaks 9 and 10. Tickets can be purchased there and there are several ski rental businesses in that area. The Quicksilver lift serves Peaks 9 and 10.
The Breckenridge gondola is next to the Summit Stage (free bus) terminal. The gondola serves Peak 8 & 7. To get to the gondola catch the “Brown” bus at the bus stop across the street from the Miner’s Candle condo. Bus arrival times are posted at the bus stop. The arrival times and route change month to month so please look at the current Summit Stage web site www.summitstage.com . On the way to the bus terminal the “Brown” bus sometimes stops at up to two other ski lifts which both serve Peak 9. The gondola serves the base area of Peak 8.

Miner’s Candle and Lancer’s West share a trash dumpster that is located at the South end of the Miner’s Candle parking lot. South is to your left as you face the Miner’s Candle building. There is no recycling function provided at this time.
TV, Cable, DVD, and WI-FI Instructions There are three remote controls:
One for the “Comcast” cable box
One for the “Sony” DVD
One for the “Dynex” TV which you should not need to use
Each remote is marked on the back
The Cable Box remote can be used to turn the Cable Box on or off, turn the TV on and off, adjust the TV volume, change TV channels, and view the “Guide”. There are also buttons on the front of the Cable Box to perform some of these functions. If the Cable Box remote only turns on either the Cable Box or the TV (but not both) manually turn on the device that did not get turned on.
The DVD remote is used with the DVD or you can use the buttons on the front of the DVD.
The TV remote could be used to turn the TV on and off and adjust the volume (but you should be able to perform these actions with the Cable Box remote). There are also buttons on the left edge of the TV to adjust volume and turn the TV on/off.
This section assumes that both the TV and Cable Box are on.
To watch the TV, press the “Input” button on the TV remote. If “Cable” is not highlighted on the list showing on the TV screen, press the up or down buttons on the TV remote until “Cable” is highlighted, then press the “Enter” button on the TV remote.
“No Signal” message – Press the “Input” button on the TV remote. If “Cable” is not highlighted on the list showing on the TV screen, press the up or down buttons on the TV remote until “Cable” is highlighted, then press the “Enter” button on the TV remote.
This page assumes that the TV, DVD, and Cable Box are on.
To watch the DVD, press the “Input” button on the TV remote. If “AV” is not highlighted on the list showing on the TV screen, press the up or down buttons on the TV remote until “AV” is highlighted, then press the “Enter” button on the TV remote.
When finished using the DVD, press the “Input” button on the TV remote. If “Cable” is not highlighted on the list showing on the TV screen, press the up or down buttons on the TV remote until “Cable” is highlighted, then press the “Enter” button on the TV remote.
“Connect To” the “MinersCandle2” router – We will be providing a WIFI password to our Guests.
